# Connect CardTrader

Add a CardTrader API token and check product matches before publishing.

CardTrader uses an API token to give TCG STATS access to your seller account.

## Find your token

1. Sign in to CardTrader.
2. Open your CardTrader account settings.
3. Open the API section.
4. Copy the API token.

Treat the token like a password. Do not send it in chat or store it in a shared spreadsheet.

## Connect CardTrader

1. Open **Settings → Connections** in TCG STATS.
2. Find CardTrader.
3. Select **Connect**.
4. Paste the API token.
5. Save the connection.

TCG STATS checks the token and shows the connected account.

## Understand blueprint matches

CardTrader calls its catalog products **blueprints**. A card must be matched to the correct blueprint before it can be published.

Check:

- game and set;
- collector number;
- language;
- finish or variation;
- condition.

If no blueprint is available, correct the product match before retrying the listing.

## If the connection fails

- Copy the token again without spaces.
- Confirm that API access is enabled in CardTrader.
- Generate a new token if the old one was revoked.
- Make sure you are connecting the intended seller account.
