TCG STATS keeps your cards, marketplace listings and orders together. You enter a card once, then decide where you want to sell it.

## Before you begin

Have these ready:

- the email address you want to use for TCG STATS;
- the name of the place where your cards are stored;
- a few cards you can use for your first test;
- login details for a marketplace, if you want to connect one now.

You do not need product codes, API knowledge or a finished spreadsheet.
If you do have a spreadsheet (CSV) already, you have use this in our importer.

## The three parts of TCG STATS

### Inventory

Inventory is what you physically own and acts as your source of truth for your inventory. A card can only be sold while enough quantity is available in inventory.

### Listings

A listing is the sale offer customers view. One inventory item can have listings on more than one marketplace.

### Orders

Orders arrive after a sale. TCG STATS uses them to reserve or remove the sold quantity so you can not sell the same card twice.

> Start small. Add two or three cards and complete the whole flow before importing your full stock.
